LTC (Ret) Jeff Bruckner serves as Director, Command, Control, Communications and Computer, Intelligence, Surveillance and Reconnaissance (C4ISR) Division at American Business Development Group; an internationally respected, full-spectrum business development consulting firm, now representing a diverse list of over fifty prominent U.S. and international businesses. American Business Development Group enjoys a reputation as the largest business development firm in the United States which specializes in the re-equipping and modernization of the United States Armed Forces. The firm has facilitated more than $680,000,000 in "new found sales" for client companies in the last year and historically each year for the last four years. A graduate of The United States Military Academy, West Point, LTC Bruckner was commissioned as a Second Lieutenant, Infantry Officer in 1976. His initial assignment was at Fort Benning GA where he completed Airborne and Ranger School, attended the Basic and Advanced Officer Course, served in various assignments at the 1st Infantry Training Brigade including Company Command, also served in the 197th Infantry Brigade as a Platoon Leader and Mechanized Infantry Company Executive Officer and was an Instructor at the Airborne Department.
In 1981 he was assigned to the 1st Brigade, 3rd Armored Division in Kirchgons Germany where he commanded, B Company 2-36 Infantry, was the Battalion Operations Officer at 3-36 Infantry and later the Battalion Executive Officer for 3-36 Infantry. In 1985 he was transferred to the 3rd Armored Division HQ in Frankfurt Germany where he worked on the Division G-3 Training Staff and later became the Aide-de-Camp for the Division Commanding General, MG Thomas N. Griffin.
Returning to the United States after seven years in Germany, LTC Bruckner was stationed at Fort Leavenworth KS, where he worked for the National Simulation Center at both TRAC Fort Leavenworth and at the Battle Command Training Program before attending the resident Command and General Staff College (CGSC) in 1989.
Upon Graduation from CGSC in 1990, LTC Bruckner was assigned to the 24th Infantry Division, at Fort Stewart GA. On his first day of work, Kuwait was invaded and he was immediately deployed as a Division Plans and Liaison Officer to XVIII Airborne Corps HQ, at Fort Bragg NC and subsequently deployed into theater for both Operations Desert Shield and Desert Storm. Upon return from the Persian Gulf, LTC Bruckner became the Battalion S-3 of 2-7 Infantry where he became Bradley Certified.
His last overseas assignment was as an Exchange Instructor for the British Army Staff College, located at Camberley England where he served for two plus years before returning to Fort Lee Virginia. At Fort Lee, LTC Bruckner, served as the Director of Public Safety for the For Lee Army Garrison Staff before retiring in 1998.
From 1998 to 2009 LTC (Ret) Bruckner worked for the Federal Division of Motorola, located in Columbia MD, where he served as the US Army Strategic Programs Manager for almost 12 years. From Jan 2010 to the present, LTC (Ret) Bruckner has worked as the Director of the C4ISR Division of American Business Development Group.
His awards and decorations include the Legion of Merit, Bronze Star, the Meritorious Service Medals with two oak leaf clusters, Army Commendation Medals with three oak leaf clusters, the Army Achievement Medal, the Overseas Service Ribbon, the Kuwaiti Liberation Medal and the Expert Infantryman's Badge and the Airborne and Range Badges.
