John Kidder is a Senior Consultant with the American Business Development Group, an internationally respected, full-spectrum business development consulting firm, now representing a diverse list of over fifty prominent U.S. and international businesses. American Business Development Group enjoys a reputation as the largest business development firm in the United States which specializes in the re-equipping and modernization of the Reserve Component. The firm has facilitated more than $680,000,000 in “new found sales” for client companies in the last year and historically each year for the last four years.
Mr. Kidder brings twenty-eight years of defense-related experience at four major defense prime contractors in executive level positions, directly involved with strategic planning, identifying and capturing new business. Experienced at managing all aspects of the business development process, including establishing strategic partnerships, developing capture strategies, identifying market potential, proposal development, defense contracting, communications and business planning. Mr. Kidder has a proven track record; successfully leading business development teams which resulted in new products, customers and markets. Mr. Kidder was responsible for booking orders in excess of $400 million in the defense environment over this period.
In addition, Mr. Kidder is a retired Captain and Naval Flight Officer in the United States Navy. Serving for thirty-one years, Mr. Kidder has held several command positions, including a United States Naval Reserve squadron and carrier unit.
Mr. Kidder graduated from the University of Maryland with a Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration. He also holds a Masters Certificate from The George Washington School of Business and has completed advanced courses at the Columbia Business School; the University of Michigan and the National Defense University.
